Hi, it is in the fuel tank, under the rear seat. if you lift the seat, remove the 3 philips head screw to take of the rhs cover then you will see the pump. carefully take the pipes off and the multiplug. remove the metal retaining ring. the pump can now be lifted out of the tank taking care not to damage the fuel guage sender and float rod. you will need to relace the seal aswell.
The fuel lift pump relay is placed in the fuse box / relay plate fascia 2 for 2007 Audi A3 2.0 TDI. The fuse box / relay plate fascia 2 is placed above pedals behind a plastic cover. See pictures below:

The fuel filter is located in the tank. Lift the rear seat,lift left side sound
insulation,unclip and remove 3 fuel pipes,remove electrical
connection,undo nuts holding fuel pump,lift out complete unit be
carefull!!!,On the pump you will see a gold colored tin cup,remove and
filter is inside
Hello dorina_jorge: My name is Roger and I will help you. The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. You can access the pump by removing the rear seat cushion. After removal locate the pump cover plate. Should be in the middle of the floor pan. Remove the screws. There are 4 of them. Unplug the wire harness and lift the cover up. Remove the fuel lines. ( be careful as they may be under pressure ). Remove the lock ring this screws down and lift out the fuel meter assembly. Make sure to replace the gasket when you reinstall the pump. the fuel pump is located inside the gas tank. You have to lower the gas tank, unlock the ring that holds it in, unhook the wires and fuel lines, and then you can lift it out.
