I have a 1999 Toyota Camry. When I turn on the A/C push button switch the light doesn't come on under the button and the A/C doesn't come on. I wanted to check the fuse for the A/C but did not know where that is. I think the compressor is working when I put on the defrost. Can you help?

In the car trunk, there may be a electrical relay box behind the panel on the left side. It is usually no bigger than 4 inches by 4 inches and yellow in color. This is present in 1987-1991 Toyota Camrys and is generally not in most repair manuals. This yellow electrical relay box may have burnt out. Best place to pick one up at an inexpensive price is at the car wrecking or salvage yard. It is very expensive at the dealer. It is easy to replace with no special tools required.
