Bmw x5 e70 wipers stopped working but washers still working any ideas

Question edited for clarity and spelling 'Nakamichi' with an 'a'.

Nowhere according to this although one turned up in auction.

This a hatchback I am assuming. And I also assume that BMW did the same thing as with my MINI COOPER. The pump for the wiper washer is mounted in the hatchback door!!! Right where the wiper motor is. Well I had a similar issue. The motor or hose fitting (can't remember) cracked or just broke, hence the leaking. If you are a decent mechanic. you have two options.
1) Go to the parts yard and get on out of a wrecked BMW.
2) Order the part new and install it.
Failing that you are off to the mechanic..................

Getting power to the washer pump? Is there washer fluid in the reservoir? If you're getting these two things you need a new washer pump.

sounds like your wiper motor is bad.

Check power to the wiper .if no power might be the actual motor.

It is in the Glove box. there is a drop down panel in there on top with 2 pins that holds it in.

You need to get in contact with the folks at TireRack.com - call them and they will be able to answer ALL of your questions.

Sounds like it's your switch or a bad relay
