your question is a little misleading. Are you driving a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission or an automatic. never the less, wjen you step on the gas, your rpms will rise. how high are they and what gear are you in?
Check and make sure the bell housing on the transmission isn't broke and trying to separate from the engine. Shifter shouldn't move while cranking unless transmission itself is moving.
The trunk ajar switch is probably bad ,this is a signal to the BCM - body control module . The control module sends a message to DIC - driver info. center telling it to display this massage. Stalling problem could be as simple as a dirty throttle plate . Your vehicle has electronic throttle control ,computer controlled ! What kind of starting problems ? Long crank time ,no crank etc... Should explain these a little . No crank -when you turn the key nothing happens . Long crank time - you turn the key to start an the engine spins & spins for a long time before the engine starts .
YOU NEED BLEED COOLANT SYSTEM.CHECK COOLANT LEVEL IN RADIATOR.ADD MORE DEXCOOL UNTIL COOLANT LEVEL IS CLOSE TO RADIATOR SPOUT.CRANK ENGINE LET IDLE UNTIL TOP RADIATOR HOSE GET HOT.WATCH TEMPERATURE GAUGE.IF TEMPERATURE GAUGE START RISING TO HOT ZONE.TURN OFF ENGINE.LET COOL DOWN.USE LARGE RAG SLOWLY OPEN RADIATOR CAP A LITTLE AT A TIME UNTIL ALL PRESSURE RELIEVED.REMOVE RADIATOR CAP.ADD MORE COOLANT.CRANK CAR AGAIN LET IDLE UNTIL TOP RADIATOR GET HOT.KEEP EYE ON TEMP.GAUGE ALSO.WHEN TEMP.GAUGE STOP CLIMBING.YOUR COOLANT SYSTEM BLED.WHEN DONE LET CAR SET A WHILE CHECK COOLANT LEVEL.ALSO FIRST THING IN THE MORNING CHECK COOLANT LEVEL AGAIN.AND BESURE ADD COOLANT IN THE OVERFLOW JUG TO THE COLD MARK.DONT OVER FILL THE COOLANT RESERVOIR JUG.WORK SAFELY DONT GET SCALDED.
this may be caused by many thinngs, check the throtlebody and make sure its clean and also remove clean the idle air control valve, if this problem continues then have the idle air control valve checked and tested,
As a Past owner of several "air rides" that is how they work. Also when you put it into 4x4 on some models the vehicle will raise another 1-2 inches.
On any model with the air ride you need to remember that the height of the vehicle is usually higher after driving. This means after parking over a curb bumper or a sidewalk, the bottom will rub unless you give the car time to rise.
The system is more useful when hauling a trailer or carrying heavy loads as it will level the vehicle automatically.
hay how u doing maybe you can get it done cheaper but try to get it done i seen those parts brake and it will be more then $500 so look around where you live see if you can find it done cheaper let me know how it goes.
