SOURCE: PO137, PO 138 codes

well on my car these are reffering to the sensors in the exhaust, the upstream sensor(before the cat) and the downstream sensor(after the cat) the downstream sensor can act up if it is lazy or sluggish, or due to a bad catalytic converter or a clogged one. however there are sensors on the exhaust manifold which are determined by driver side or passenger,my opinion is to get a scanner for about $100 to $150 and you can figure out many of these codes yourself.

SOURCE: recurring codes

these code could have come up due to a mismatch in the test equipment used to recall them try using another test rig to retrieve the codes you may find they are not there anymore, i have had this when using the incorrect lead on a system i have checked my computer and there are no codes like that for the car you state

hope you find this useful regards JR

I need to know what code p0326 means for a 2001 kia sportage. i know it a knock sensor code what do i do with information.

Knock sensor is an indication you are having a mis-fire with your spark plugs if one fires and another misses causes the engine to knock 3 possible issues.

Spark plugs

Older vehicle may need gas treatment

Worst case valve or cylinder seal issue
Try the first issues dont change knock sensor it maybe doing its job

The last solution you shouldnt need to do unless you are getting black smoke from exhaust or engine is knocking realy bad

Recently my sportage has started dying almost everytime I stop. if Im sitting at a light for more than a min, its starts idleing funny, shakes a little, and then dies. It always starts again right away,...

If there is a check engine light, have the codes read,it is most likely a miss fire on one of the four cylinders,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

Miss fires

Its very likely that its time for a tune up, also you should check the resistance of your ignition coils and if they are not within specs replace them. This same problem happen to my Sportage. Leave feedback. Rate this post.
