Where is the fuse for the air conditioning on a 2000 jeep grand cherokee

  • Anonymous Jun 16, 2013

Although my air conditioner is not the reason for my research on fixya.com, your explanation on the fuse box under the hood was VERY helpful. The Owner's Manual does not give a description of what these fuses and cartridges apply to, only the smaller fuse box under the dash. How ridiculous is that?

2000 Jeep Grand cherokee air conditioning is on, but the clutch is not engaging to make air compressor move. No cool air!

You need to check the compressor, it sounds like the unit is low on gas. You can try to clean the filter that should be situated behinf the cubby hole on the passenger side. It should be a cartridge filter that you can pull out.
