I have a 2008 Volvo S60. Pronlem: driver side door lock and window stop working. Button on driver side that locks doors doesn't lock/unlock any door but, front passenger side lock button locks.unlocks all doors except driver side door. Alarm key locks/unlocks all doors except driver side door. What is the problem and is it something I can fix myself easily?

Its most likely your siren module.

It is located in the right fender well just behind the wheel liner.

Remove the R/F wheel, remove the torx 25 screws, pull the liner to the rear and you can see it right there above the liner.

To remove the siren module...it uses a sheer bolt, which unfortunately you'd need to either drill it out, or use a dremel to slice a slot to get a screw driver in to remove the sheer bolt.

The light went out the second day, I’m taking it into the dealer for service mon dec 8, 2008, I did see the brake and radiator fluid to be low, (must remember to buy some at the dealer to keep in my garage) also I have seen small spots on the garage floor on the passenger side forward, I will also have it checked out at the same time. (Who knows! to be continued)
