Junfer_CA - You will need to take out the radio and head to the dealership. There you will need to provide the serial for the radio and your VIN number with your ID. Honda will get you the code, but it's going to cost you some coin.

My owners manual had a plastic card iwith a code nside it when I purchased the vehicle. Apparently if your battery dies your radio will lock - like an anti-theft device. You need the code on the card you were given. I've been told that even Honda cannot replace the code for your radio - they're unique to every vehicle!

Changed battery then no radio

Newer cars have radios with security codes. If they lose power (such as if a thief steals it), they lock and require a code to be inserted to reset it. The car dealer provides the code at purchase for the radio it is usually on a card or paper included with the owner manual and other papers. If it is not there, you will most likely need to contact a dealer to find out what information you need to supply them to get an unlock code. Sometimes it is the VIN; other times it is the radio serial number. That may require removal of the unit to obtain.

How to reset radio/audio

It requires a code entering to activate (generally a 4 digit number). Have a look in the manual as the code may have been written down in there. Also, some people write the code on the radio itself but this requires removal of the radio to find out. If you do take it out, make a note of the serial numbers and any bar codes on the stickers and with luck someone may be able to generate the code. If it is an original factory fitted radio then your local Ford dealership may be able to help as the radios are coded to the vehicle.

Radio code for saab 2003

On all Saabs from 1998 the audio systems are digitaly coded to the car, as long as the radio is from the original car, then no code is required.
If it is a replacment radio from another car, you will require Saab diagnostic tool Tech2 to programme radio.

Radio code ford escape 2003

You need to take the radio out of the dash. Post up the serial number beginning with the letter M and I will give you your code.

If the serial begins with V this is a newer radio and you cannot get these for free anywhere on the net. I recommend this site for the newer V serials requiring codes. Its the cheapest and best around. Click here.
