U should do a compression test to rule out internal engine wear or damage, very important. also u need to isolate dead cylinder or cylinders to verify proper eng compression ,an if is good suspect a faulty injector or clogged inlet screen on that dead cyl. one way to isolate a dead cyl is to pull of spark plug wires while engine is runnin(with an approved spark plug boot pliers which r insulated). a good cyl will drop total rpm down 200 to 300 rpm, a dead cylinder will not change ur idle rpm wen the wire is disconnected.thats how u isolate a dead cyl. good luck
Have the intake gasket checked. spray carb/choke cleaner around intake gasket and if rpms change then you have a bad gasket which causes rough idle bad fuel econ
