One of the circuit has shorted. Do this replace fuse open trunk with key disconnected trunk mechanism try horn and see if fuse blows if not the trunk has shorted. If it blows the horn has shorted
You need a special programmable key. Perhaps you can found on ebay. The connector is in the trunk, left side middle way between the stop lights and the trunk cover, look for a connector unplugged in the cable harness
somewhere in that vehicle is a sticker that has the complete order on it sometimes its in the trunk under the mat where spare tire goes or behind the glove box or back seat area its hidden but will tell you all you need to know it will be numbers that look like this a0000 b0000 c0000 d0000 and so on
There is not a MAF sensor. There is a MAP sensor. It is located on the drivers side of the intake. It will be a black rectangular box with a green connector. The connector will have three wires.
Did they try to break into every door? If they screwed up every lock your gonna have to Slim Jim it. There is always breaking the window out but just Slim Jim it. Can use a coat hanger with a tiny hook at the end bent into it as well. Take and wedge the window seal so you can see down there and take the Slim Jim and grab that latch. Not to hard really.
To change your brake light on your Car is Done from inside your Trunk, You'll need to open trunk, and on either side there is a cover on the left and right side,That will be removeable.
Just remove the cover with your Hands and it will expose your Wiring to your bulbs and you'll see a metel socket that holds your Light Bulbs, Just turn or Pull that socket out that the Wiring goes to.
Now you can remove your bad bulb and replace it with a new one.
on a Caprice you'll have 2-3 Bulbs in the Lighting assembly just have someone Push down the Brake Pedal. So you can see the Light thats not Working.
This will get your Brake Light Working. Since its only 1- Bulb thats out Eliminates that you have a Bad Brake Light Switch. If both sides are out it could be your brake light swith.
