94 Nissan Altima accelerator problems

My 1994 Nissan Altima starts, shifts into gear, has all power, but when you push the gas peddal down, nothing happens. Engine doesnt rev but car will go into gear and moves at like 5 MPH. Whats wrong?

My 1997 Nissan Altima does the same thing. I paid over $600.00 to have motor mounts put ion the car 2 years ago. Now it is back and is basically undrivable? Check what and where is it?

I push on the gas but all that happens is the RPMs go up, the car accelerates but at a consistent low rate not proportionate to the high RPMs. At any rate, a week ago when the RPMs went up the car accelerated more.

Have a 94 altima manual transmission I have clutch pressure but when I shift into gear tires don't spin i assume it might be the drive axle

the clutch might be burned, i would get close to the opening where the clutch cylinder is located and see if there is any burning smell first

1995 Nissan Altima Stuck in First Gear

1. check transmission fluid level or if you can change the fluid & filter.
2. check throttle position sensor (tps).
3. if fluid level & tps are ok & still not upshifting automatically, temporarily (so you can take it to a transmission specialist) , try to manually shift. starting from dead stop, shift to D1. at about 25mph shift to D2. (be gentle on the accelerator & don't over rev on each gear. release accelerator pedal & don't step on the brakes while shifting from D1 & D2).

94 Nissan Altima

Its a '94 so engine or tranny mounts are a strong possibility...
You would need to seek the help of a mechanic to replace them.
