97 Blazer 4.3 4WD Need location of relay for Fuel Pump

    I replaced the fuel pump because it acted like it was out of gas it ran for about 600+miles then it would not run until I poured some gas down its throat but stoped running after it burned the gas I gave it

    If the vehicle isn't running how do you know if there's oil pressure? How do you pull f/pump relay without damaging the unit. I replaced fuel pump 2000 blazer ran fine for about 4 hrs.Then out of the blue it won't start in driveway. Fuse checked out ok. Now I want to check relay.

On your 97 Blazer
The fuel PUmp RELAY is located in Right side of dash
Behind the glove BOX.
You can identicate for the colour of the wires.
1- Black/white
2- Dark green/white
3- Gray
4- Orange
5- Red.

NOTE... Check the oil pressure switch, because the GRAY wire pass throught the OIL pressure switch.

I don't think you can on that vehicle-probably not a code, anyway. Check the fuel pump relay, it may be stuck on. Should be located in the power distribution box under hood. Pull it out-pump should stop-swap in a different relay to test. If pump still runs on with new relay, the wiring to the relay needs checked.

Where is the fuel pump relay located in 95 chevy blazer s-10?
The fuel pump relay in my blazer is located in the rear of the glove box which means you have to clean out all of the maps and other junk to get to it. There is a plastic cover that has to be removed to expose the relay which is the right side of the two present.
You can tell if it is operating when you turn the ignition key to "ON", the relay will click and you should hear a humming sound as the fuel pump energizes.

Fuel pump not working on my 97 chevy blzer
Check the fuel pump relay located in the control center which is under the hood on the driver side firewall. The relay should have a schematic on it and check it with an ohm meter for a short. If the relay is good then you will have to drop your tank and replace the pump.Tons of fun - done it three times myself.

Where is my fuel pump relay on a 1996 chevy blazer? I changed out my fuel pump and the blazer still will not start
Its in the fuse panel under the hood the cover will tell you where it's located.You also may need to replace the crankshaft speed senser,if it's gone the relay won't work.If you listen and hear no fuel pump running when the key is first turn on then it may be a relay issue or the wireing to the fuel pump.
