There's also plastic guides that the track rides on, if ur heavy like me the seat frame chews up the plastic guides and gets stuck, just had to take a pry bar to mine tonight
The power seat in the truck has 3 motors, one of them is not working, the most common cause of this is the power seat switch is defective, it is often the forward and reverse seat positioning switch that fails because it is the one that is most used. If the switch checks ok then you will need to replace the the power seat track assembly, Ford does not sell any parts for the track, it is only available as one complete unit, I know this because i retired form a Ford dealer.
