The override function is used when needing to force a closing of the sunroof window. To override the system:
Turn ignition to ON.
Rotate the sunroof switch to the close position.

The sunroof switch data 6 circuit, or override circuit, will become grounded at the sunroof module. As long as the sunroof module sees this input, it will continue to slide the sunroof window to close, regardless of the other sunroof switch data circuits inputs.
Is the motor receiving power? If not you have to check electrical system to locate the place that is not transmitting power. Could be a fuse/relay, switch, bad connection.
If the motor is turning and nothing happens then the drive mechanism from motor to sunroof is stripped. Not good.

OK given that this won\'t help the original enquirer but for all those who like me have had this prob and found themselves here well here\'s a solution that\'s not complex on all isuzu trooper/bighorns mk 2s ( as far as I know) early 90s have a manual over ride . You need a coin or flat head screwdriver and a 6mm Alan key. Now look above the the back seats in the middle you will find a little bung use coin / screwdriver to turn it out don\'t dig it out. Inside you will find a small Alan bolt turn with Alan key to open or close sunroof (Isuzu hand book 1992 page 4_17) PS there is a tool for the job located in the glove box if you still have it!!
Check the master window control panel on the drivers door. There is probably a lockout switch. It may have a window outline on one end and the same outline with an "X" over it on the other. Press the outline without the "X" and all your windows should work again. As silly as that sounds, a lot of folks hit the lockout switch and don't know it. On the other hand, the lockout switch is bad.
