Errors like that generally are in the computer so you want a Volvo VIDA readout. That can be done at the dealer or cheaper at a Volvo independent repair shop.

It will tell you where the problem is and WHAT the problem is - and the solution.

Pretty good chance that your 50A fuse feeds the fuse block inside the car. To test, pull the fuse & check fuse block for power. If I'm right, then start by replacing main fuse and pulling individual fuses on block, till draw disappears. then check which system that fuse feeds. most common: glovebox light lid not closed all the way or interior light malfunction. However, control modules can give similar results.

1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Why does it have no running lights and instruments lights?

parks dead outside and inside dimmer side both dead.
fuses are first. lacking the manual we check them all.
I must assume front and rear parks and side parks are all dead.
and will answer only for that fact
the front feed makes dash lamps work too.
rear end , optional has lamp outage module to fail ,. only rear.

I have the shop manual for all GC .
USA?
XJ jeep
park wiring all (aka , tail lamps or running lamps but are the same feed)
feed means power feed.
chapter 8w is wiring all
fuse box PDC fuse 13 good.
pdc fuse 17 good
pdc relay park good. BCM runs this relay so the park switch to it must be good.
only in auto lamps
manual lamps turned on BCM is not in that path and Fuse 17 feed lamps direct via the HL switch ON.

if fronts/and front sides are dead, Fuse 17 blew.
if not the HL switch is bad.
I won't say, all wires to above can fail, that be obvious.
tip

Add on the Park Distance Control

Spent last weekend installing one, I can comment on installation. First, the car is not at all "pre-wired" for the PDC. The installation involves the following: 1. Removing the rear bumper completely (not just the black rub strip) 2. Running a wiring harness thru the bumper. 3. Removing and replacing the rub strip with one designed to accomodate the ultrasonic sensors. 4. Drilling a 40 mm (about 1 1/2 in.) diameter hole below the right rear tail light to pass the wiring harness thru (a very scarey operation, for me, at least. Like performing surgery on your baby!). 5. Removing the rear package shelf (which means removing the rear seats, head restraints, C pillar panels, child seat tethers, etc.) 6. Installing a small speaker next to the brake light on the rear panel. 7. Running a second wiring harness from the trunk into the passenger compartment and along the rear window to connect to the speaker. 8. Tapping into the fuse block above the battery. 9. Running the power harness across the back of the trunk to the left side of the car to tap into the I-bus wiring. 10. Mounting the PDC control unit above the battery. 11. Re-assembling everything. Given the somewhat cryptic instructions, and the fact that the actual wiring did not match what was described in the instructions, it is a pretty time-consuming project. Concerning whether it is any different from the factory installed version: I haven't seen the factory installed one, but my guess is that they are pretty much the same.

Bmw 2014 1 series...radio steering controls and pdc dont work

The issue you have is that the 12v+ feed Times out after 20 mins or so, which will cause all your radio settings to revert to default. No matter which way round you switch the red/yellow on the stereo loom, you'll still have the same issue.
you need to splice the yellow cable to a solid 12v+ with constant power. there Is one in the passenger side footwell area coming in from the engine bay, but you will need to splice into it. The adaptor/interface generates an ignition feed for you (providing you have the correct kit)
There is nothing wrong with splicing into the OEM loom as long as you have a fuse in line of the cable and that it is soldered properly and secure.
I always re-loom using cloth tape.
Or maybe there is a wire missing :? Hence the Steering Controls wouldn't work, and no sounds from when Parking Sensors(PDC) enabled. Is it correct I won't get the chimes for the PDC until a working Patch Lead is installed? He told me the Stalk Controls and PDC are all interlinked

2003 impala keeps blowing rear parking lamp fuse

Same issue also when the fuse blows i looks my electric seat controls. I found the problem was underneath the hood underneath both the fuse boxes it was a power wire pinched under a plate that holds the fuse boxes on. This wire probably wore through after 140,000 miles of rubbing and being pinched. tell me if it works for you

A pulled fuse panel for a 2003 Jeep Liberty, there are 39 fuses inside a vehicle. I need to know what these fuses are and what they go to.

The fuse box diagram is a sticker placed on the inside of the fuse box cover. This cover is located on the left end of the instrument panel (driver side). The sticker just uses numbers to indicate the fuses. I will match the fuse number with its purpose:
1. Power Outlet, Front
2. Rear Fog Lights
3. Horns
4. Headlight, Low Beam, Right
5. Headlight, Low Beam, Left
6. Body Control Module / Power Door Locks
7. Spare
8. Spare
9. Right Park Light / Right Tail Light / Trailer Tow Lights / Cluster
10. Spare
11. Flasher
12. Stop Lights
13. Body Control Module / CMTC / Cluster
14. Spare
15. PDC Fuel Pump and Auto Shut Down Relays / SKIS
16. Power Outlet Rear
17. Rear Wiper
18. Radio Choke
