My tachometer has stopped working. where can i find the fuse/how do i get it back working?

Don't believe there is a fuse for this,but will check.Anything else stopped working?.
It gets its signal via the distributor,although 1994 may have been year of facelift model with directfire and no distributor.
You will need to remove the instrument cluster and test for signal,if there is a signal at the distributor.
Let me know if you need details of testing

There are 3 reasons why tachometer its nit working, either is broken, faulty fuse or bad wiring or malfunction of the ECU's. Better an electrician can do check your car.

I have a "03" Mercury Sable and the speedometer and the tachometer stopped working both at the same time...the car runs and shifts fine but both of these went out after they acted funny...they were working...
I think both these are electrical on your car. Check wires pluggin to back of cluster, and fuses too.

Tachometer problems
first check if the tacho is electronic. if its manual ie uses a cable, then test and replace the cable. if its electronic, could be fuse , loose wiring, pick up on gearbox, dash problem. have to test each one individually.

My fuel gauge tach gauge speedometer heater temp gauge and driver power seat quit working
check the fuses. they are under the back seat just pull up on the lower part of the back seat and it will come out. fuse box is on the drivers side. check to see if water is getting in that could be the cause.

Check fuse #37, 10 amp yellow in fuse panel on dash.

The camshaft sensor in the distributor sends the tach signal to the instrument cluster. wire is BU = Blue?
