What would fluids have to do with anything, other than coolant ?

Why is the timing belt okey? That was a year ago

SRS Light (safety restraint system) ALL Fault Codes
get resolved immediately, regardless of other issues.

The Fuel Pump may be failing, only some testing will tell

I'am making a point here. Your doing nothing, your waiting
and worrying. Just go to a repair shop and have the issues resolved

Battery checked, has gas, oil, all fluids and belts are good what else should we check

If the engine turns over use starting fluid and see if it starts. It sounds like your fuel pump is bad. You could try banging on the bottom of the fuel tank and see if you could knock a little life in it. It worked for me a few times.

Honda 2004 civic turns over but wont start. starter fluid gets it going but doesnt stay cranked.. help

Hi Tara,
I would crack the fuel line at the fuel rail and crank the engine, if you have fuel, you know the pump is working. If you have no fuel, check for power at the fuel pump. If there is power at the pump, you will probably need a fuel pump. Let me know if that helps, thanks.

Have a 2002 Honda Civic that will turn over but will not crank,

check your owners manual for a fuel pump shut off switch if it has one, reset it, check for a blown fuse for the fuel pump, if that dosent work, check to make sure no wires got pinched in the bell housing between motor and transmisson.

I have a 94 honda civic and its not turning on. All the actual power cuts on but that's all. Is it my fuel pump??

It could be. Check to see if it turns on. Let it rest for a few minutes. Turn your key on but dont try to start it. When you turn the key, you chould hear a humming sound for a second or two. You can also spray gas or starter fluid in your intake. Try to start it right after. If it starts and dies, it is probably your fuel pump. If it kicks on, let me know. We can try some more things. I hope this helps. It sucks to be broke down.

Check your fuel pump regulator. Your fuel pump is inside the gas tank but can be accessed by removing the rear compartment trim; there is an access for the fuel pump under the trim.

92 honda civic turns over fine but doesnt start

ok, this is a commom problem with this 92 hondas,

it may be the pump fuel relay, which is under the dash on the driver side by the fuse panel.

here is a way to determine that.

when you turn the key on the on position

do you hear the fuel pump running while the engine light is on, and does the pump stop running afteer the engine light goes off?

if you do hear the pump running then it means that fuel pump is working fine ( since it way just replaced), but if you don't hear it running while the check engine light is on ( about 2 seconds) chances are the fuel pump relay is not working as it should.

also there are clicks that have to be heard on the starting process.

1 when you turn key to on possition

2 when the check engine light goes off( a click has to be heard just after it goes off)

3 after the car starts

If you don't hear this clicks, try to get your ear close the location of the fuel pump relay( near the fuse panel under the dash).

the fuse relay is just a bunch of circuits soldered, so you can get it to someone who knows how to solder and fix it.

or just get a replacement one at any junkyard. ( cheapp)

Car wont start

Does the engine sound different when it cranks? It might be a timing belt concern? Remove the oil cap and look for the camshaft.(you might need a flashlight).Have a partner crank the engine and watch the cam. If it stays still you have a bad timing belt.Let me know what you find.
