I want to get my transmission fluid change on my 1992 Lexus LS 400 but I'm not sure what fluid it needs. Also I have heard that the converter needs to be drained can that be done?

Can not drain the converter, nor do you need to

Do not have it flushed
Flushing has caused all sorts of issues

If your having it changed,as in paying someone,
then they should know what is the correct fluid

Stop by or call a dealer and ask,so you know &
feel good about what to tell whom ever

the steering lines fittings are different sizes it could be the sensor however make sure all the air is bleed out of the system first. to do this with the engine running turn the steering wheel full left and full right until you hear no noise then check the steering fluid level and repeat as needed.

My lexus ls 400 has no power but it is running. What's the problem.

The first thing to have checked is the fuel pressure, low pressure kills the power.

Automatic transmission fluid

For a total rebuild it is 12 liter, for a filter change it is 5 liter. But I would check the dipstick if it has to be sure. Hope this helps.

1992 lexus ls 400 timing belt

I have the same problem with my 94 LS, its getting fixed now. The camshaft sensor is telling the computer that the timing is off, meaning your timing belt is either jumping or missing teeth, or it may be going bad. It is a very big job, so I suggest replacing the belt, water pump, tensioner, and maybe the seals and pulleys as well. Are you at a lost of power, has you car ever cut off at a stop red light or when driving?
