Did the battery reconnect on 1996 maxima radio turned on then wouldent turn on the next time the car started did the reconnect again and it didnt work checked all fuses is there any thing else?

Go to AUTOZONE,they will test you electrical system for free,takes only a few minutes.

FLAT batterY?? Battery OK,now? New one? Old one OK?HUH?
Get security codes FIRST: radio and NAV.
Disconnect battery from car and wait for 30 seconds and turn on the headlight switch,DURING the battery disconnect.
Turn off the headlights and reconnect the battery.
the security system should "re-boot" and be happy.
then there is the radio issue, Get the code.....

It sounds like your ECU might be having some troubles. Try disconnecting the battery for 1/2 an hour, then reconnect it and start it up. Let it run for maybe 10 minutes without driving to let the ECU reset. Then take the vehicle on a short drive to let the ECU gain info on the fuel and air conditions.

with the key turned on disconnect the positive post of the battery and reconnect it again. Make sure you leave your window down incase the doors lock automatically.Once you have reconnected the battery try starting your car. I have seen this work several times but no quarantee. Also you will have to reset the code to your radio.Hope this helps.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 1999 GMC YUKON WITH THE 5.7 ENGINE HAVING TO JUMP START ALL THE TIME TO GET IT RUNNING, THE PROBLEM WITH MINE WAS THE FUEL PUMP HAD TO BE REPLACED, EVEN WHEN I REMOVED THE PUMP AND TURNED THE KEY FUEL PUMPED OUT BUT WAS NOT ENOUGH PRESSURE TO GET AND KEEP THE ENGINE RUNNING.I ALSO TRIED STARTER FLUID, THE ENGINE WOULD RUN UNTIL THE FLUID BURNED OFF.SO THE SOLUTION FOR MY TRUCK WAS THE FUEL PUMP AND NOW ITS STARTING LIKE A CHAMP

sounds funny but disconnecr the battery and then hook it back up-I did this and power was restored to my radio-I have no idea why this worked.

sounds like a starter motor problem, i would change that first
