The link below is a good resource to find the meaning of your codes. The E41 code is listed here as P041 or (E041).

Best of luck,
The light indicates a fault has occurred in the transmission or the electronic control sensors and actuators. You need the dealer to scan the transmission control module (TCM) to see what fault code is stored and then based on that code perform diagnostics and repair the transmission.
No idea here as to what you mean but as this vehicle is a 95 then it should have a dipstick for the autobox and this is what you use to check the oil level ,start engine and put handbrake on ,chock back of drive wheels and then put in reverse gear and check the gearbox oil level .Anything else i wouldnt know as here in europe nealy all cars are manuals
The P041 code on your year model Deville is distributor related...either the hall effect switch and/or the magnetic pickup coil is defective...my guess would be the pickup coil. If your car has high mileage, you might want to consider replacing the entire distributor with a rebuilt one. Good luck, i hope this helps,
P0041 is O2 sensor reversal. Check the back 2 O2 sensors on the exhaust pipes. Is it possible someone put the connectors on the wrong sensors? Try swapping them to see if it clears the code. It may take a day or 2 for it to clear. If it doesn't clear, please rescan and get back to us with any new codes.
There is a switch that is turned on/off based on the position of the gear shift lever. The switch is located at the base of the shift lever and is probably going bad.
TRY WHAT THAT OTHER PERSON SAID. IF THAT DOESNT WORK POP UR HOOD OPEN AND SLAM IT DOWN. ONE OF UR SENSORS ARE DIRTY OR LOOSE SAME THING HAPPENS TO MINE.
