Door will not open on Buick Regal 95

Front passager door will not open or unlock. Trying to avoid paying hundreds of dollars to get it open. Perhaps if I find out how to remove the inside panel and get inside the door from the inside I can fix this myself. Any suggestions? Please advise?

My passenger side front door is locked as well. I cannot unlock it at all. I tried Alexl's suggestions, but the dashboard and the seat were in the way in trying to remove the door panel. I have tried spraying DW40 down the door and attempting to vibrate the mechanism loose with a rubber mallet. That's not working either. Any other suggestions??? The dealership wants over $200 to take the door off. Ugh!

Outside door handle will not unlatch door.  Now inside door handle won't unlatch it either.  Problem seems to be with the latch assembly.

You need a long screw driver, 10mm, phillips, torxs bits, trim panel popper and a pocket screw driver. if you can hear the actuator working thhere is a plastic replacement boot. pop up the switch cover from the fron. remove the rear reflector/light remover 10mm bolts(3). remove the torx and the open handle cover. then use the trim panel popper and remove the panel. then take the long screw driver and follow tow lock rods to the ned then twist the screw driver. two more rods need to be removed at the back. one has a adjustment. do adjusted it! then remove the torx 30 latch in the outer door part. remove the latch. then two torx 10 on the actuator remove them. at this point you will see a pastic rod that is not connected because the boot came off or the actuator is bad. install the new boot in the latch then take the place rod or the actuator push it into the boot at a 45deg. then swing it down. o ya make sure the gears are aligned top all of the way to the right and the bottom to the left i think. its the same as when you pull it a part. also do not over tightend the actuator to the latch. have fun

I have a 93 buick regal but my front doors & rear

Well, the mirrors would be on the circuit with the courtesy lights. The door locks and windows would be on different circuits.
Why can't you unlock the driver's or passenger door with the key and open it with the door handle ?

Have a 1995 buick regal that front passenger door will not unlock. not with key inside lock or power lock anyone have any ideas

could be that one of the rods inside the door has shifted to where it is not allowing it to unlock, sounds like its just jammed. I would remove the inside door panel if you can and look at the rods leading to the lock and the door handle see if they need to be freed if so after freeing them grease them real well with any kind of gear grease so it wont happen again.

1998 buick regal gs heat blows hot on passenger side and cold on the driver side.

Same problem on my 98 Regal GS; remove glove box, locate the blend door actuator, (black odd shaped box with metal "ring"). Remove the box and manually turn the blend door shaft it was attached to. If you get cold air, it's the actuator you removed. About 30-40 dollars.

What are repair cost for oil leak on 95 buick regal?

It depends on what seal/seals or gaskets are being replaced. No one seal or gasket should be much over $50 and a good repair shop should cost anywhere from 55-85 dollars an hour for labor.

I have a '93 Buick Regal Custom. Last year I was unable to open the passengers door from the outside, I can open from the inside but not outside. I lived with it until now. The drivers door is doing the...

I have this problem every year with my car, 1993 buick regal custom, 3.8. What happens is it gets cold, warms up a bit, and ice or snow melts and gets in the door, then it gets cold again and it freezes. I go to unlock and open the door from the outside and this problem arises.

There is a vertical rod on the left side of the drivers side, right side of the passenger side, that gets bent, from trying to open the door when that mechanism is frozen up. Just bend it back, a TINY bit and it will start working.

I got tired of taking my door apart every time it happened so i cut a little "door" in the cover thing, so i can get at that bar.

I also tried coating it in grease and that seems to lessen the frequency.

R/F door trim will have to be removed. Most likely you will find linkage disconnected from the inside latch of the outside door handle. You might even find a broken piece of the door handle requiring replacement

Windows and locks don't work BUT THE DRIVER'S DOOR in 1999park av

You may have gotten water and/or ice down into the controls in the door. Replacing expensive (several hundred dollars) modules might solve the problem. When the weather wams up it might go away on its own. I avoid opening my windows in the winter now that I know my Park Avenue is susceptible to the problem.
