Sounds like an electrical problem and the best place to start from is the spark plugs and the relevant wires. the best way to check if that is the problem is to use a water bottle and spray around the spark plugs. A blue arc will mean that you need to check the plugs and the wires. Distributor and valves could be the othe suspects but start with the plugs.
