You don`t if say if you know but these codes mean misfire on cylinder 1 and cylinder 2.you also don`t say if you tried anything to fix.check out plugs they may need changing,it could be bad ignition wires or dirty injectors,or even dirty valves(not closing completly)causing misfire.you could have low compression on these two cylinders also.
SOURCE: P0132 code along with P0300, P0301, P0302, etc.
check for intake manifold for vacuum leaks, use a can of spray carb cleaner and spray around the top of the engine, if you hit a leak the engine idle will change, P0302 is a miss in #2 cylinder (cylinder power output low, lean cylinder due to poss vacuum leak and other issues.). once again an O2 will not cuase a mis-fire.
SOURCE: 98 E-250 Rough Idle; codes p0156,p1131,p1151,p0301,p0171,p0174+
po301 thru po306 all misfire codes cylinder 1-6 remove plugs and replace them..... set the plug gap first
i suggest u replace the wires also if they never been replaced all these misfire codes can set the others and one is for the oxygen sensor ( 02s or HO2S) CIRCUT MALFUNCTION do u know how to check wireing systems
do the tune up plugs (set gap) .052-.056 change the fuel filter also. clear the codes hows it run
this info is for 98 E-250 4.2Litre
what engine do u have 4.2L or 4.6L i know it is a v-6 by the codes
SOURCE: 12 codes; 90174, p0171, p0175,p0300,p0301, p0302,
90174 (guessing it should be p0174 = system too lean)
92198 (guessing it should be p2198 = Oxygen Sensor Stuck Too Lean / Rich)
p0171, p0175 = system too lean (usually related to MAF Sensor)
p0301= Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected (Coil related most likely)
p0302 = Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected (Coil related most likely)
p0303 = Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected (Coil related most likely)
p0316 = Cylinder Misfire Detected (Coil related most likely)
p0420 = Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold
p2195, p2196 = Oxygen Sensor Stuck Too Lean / Rich (most likely the rubber hose from valve cover to throttle body
You may want to have your MAF changed, Coils changed, and your O2 Sensor checked. Also any one of those faults can also trigger another fault. I.E your O2 sensor could be could, but since it's misfiring, it's being triggered because the exhaust gases aren't what it should be. Hope this helps
Testimonial: "Thanks, you was very helpful. Since I got the codes the engine lock up on me. The car light comes on but the car would not start. I had it towed. "
SOURCE: i had this code PO300, P0302, and p0301. I changed
300 is multiple cylinders miss fire, 301, 302 you have cylinder 1 and 2 miss fire. check your wires and fuel injectors on those cylinder
SOURCE: Obd codes p0301 & p0302. Engine runs rough
Cylinders 1 and 2 are mifiring.Since you are smelling fuel it more then likely will be an ignition misfire. What type of vehicle is this year make and model? Will help to give ideas of what to check for.
