We have a 1994 ford bronco 4x4 eddie bauer, its been running fine and today it would not start. It has power, lights, doorchimesm, interior light all work. When you turn it over it just clicks. We tried to jump it but it still just clicks. Any ideas

You will need to replace the starter solenoid most likely. Ford uses a separate solenoid not attached to the starter. Look for where your positive battery cable goes as it will lead to the solenoid. Should be a fairly easy repair. On a side note, make sure all your battery cable ends are clean and tight first.

It definetly sounds like starter motor issue....there are 2 circuits within the starter motor, one is the pullin winding, that brings the gear close to the flywheel, and the motor windings that "cranks" the motor. It sounds like the pull in windings are working but the cranking circuit has failed.

This requires a starter motor replacement.......what you can do is "lightly" tap the starter motor with a blunt object and it might start once or twice, but a replacement is highly suggested.
