The light is a warning that a fault exists in the Anti Lock Brake System, and is off line - not working. As there are many componets involved, it will need to be scanned to find the cause.

SOURCE: 2002 Toyota Sienna cabin air filter??

Unfortunately, no.
Toyota began installing the cabin air filters in the Sienna product starting in 2003.

SOURCE: Trac Off, ABS, and VSC

It is very common for all of these lights to come on all at the same time. They are all related to your Antilock Brake and Traction control system. ABS = Antilock Brake System, TRAC OFF = the traction control system is disabled - either because there is a malfunction in the ABS system or you have turned off the traction control button. VSC = Vehicle Skid Control. - (which uses the ABS and the Traction Control to function.)

The most common cause of these lights coming on is one or more defective wheel speed sensors. Although there are many other possible causes as well. Your ABS and Traction Control system must be scanned for fault codes to diagnose the problem. If you had damage to your wheels/axles during your "fender bender" this may have something to do with it. Otherwise it may just be coincidence that part of these systems failed right after your accident.

Ihave a 2002 Toyota sienna . my ABS light is always blinking fast and my speedometer has stopped working . any ideas what the problem is

Have you recently replaced a set of front or rear tires? If they aren't the same size they will do this exact symptom. If you haven't you have a bad wheel speed sensor. I wish I could tell you which one across the Internet but I can't someone needs to hook up a scanner to your sienna. Good luck and reply if you need further advice.

How to reset check engine light warning

normally to reset a check engine light all you have to do is unhook the battery for a couple of minutes and then hook it back up. if you are having a sensor problem though this check engine light will come back on after you drive the vehicle for more than 3 minutes.

2002 Sienna Van ABS light flashing and stop when the vehicle at 25 mph.

Whenever this warning or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module has detected a fault, it then disables the system as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

2001 toyota sienna changed drive shaft & ABS lights on now

Sounds like the ABS sensor is not hooked up.
The sensor is behind the brake rotor attached to the spindle where the axle shaft sticks thru.
You might want to have the computer scanned for codes to make sure the light is on for the same wheel the axle was removed from.

I have toyota sienna 2002 . ABS warning is coming on and off while driving. I checked with the local mechanic. He changed the wheel air pressure censor and changed the connecting wires too. but still the...

The wheel air pressure sensor only records the air pressure, the speed sensor or as its sometimes called abs sensor sends the signal that abs is engaged. When they malfunction it can send a false signal that the wheel is sliding or going slower than the other wheels which can engage the abs system or cause the abs light to eluminate. Have your mech check the speed sensors and abs system.

ABS light flashing when vehicle speed above 10mph than goes out at 15mph, (2002 Toyoya Sienna Van, 98674 miles on the odometer.

well it looks like theres a problem in your break system somewhere could be the calipers mabey one is sticking or it could be dragging and its a warning i always thought that if the abs comes on then that means your vehicle is performing a duty in order to keep the breaks from locking up due to something malfunctioning.

Brake indicator lamb

My Chiltons manual for the toyota seinna 1998-2002 it says that with the lite always on means ecu malfunction and the action to take is ' ecu problem '. Sometimes these manuals leave a lot to be desired.

there appears to be a speed sensor on every wheel with the abs actuator assembly(including ecu) is attached to the brake booster.

the manual says. . . .The ABS computer(ECU) is mounted within the ABS actuator and is the ' brain' for the ABS system. The function of the computer is to accept and process information recieved from the wheel speed sensors to control the hydraulic line pressure, avoiding wheel lock up. The computer aslo constantly monitores the system, even under normal driving conditions, to find faults within the system.
If a problem develops within the system, an "ABS" light will glow on the dashboard. A diagnostic cod will also be stored in the computer and, when retrieved, will indicate problem area or component.

I hope this helps

What does it mean when you reset the low tire sensor on a 2002 toyota Sienna and comes back on? The tire pressure has been checked and its fine.

You have to "Teach" the tire sensors to the correct pressure. The 02 Sienna does not measure the actual PSI tire pressures, it measures the RPM of the tires. with the tires set to specs, the rotation RPM is "x". If a tire goes low, the rotation RPM would bt "y", and that will light the light.

The proceedure: Set the tires to specs with a known good pressure gauge. The ones that you can put in your pocket, that looks like a pen, are alway sincorrect. Get one with a needle reading. Set the tires correctly. Now, press the reset button, hold it until the light blinks 3 times. Drop it into gear, and DRIVE IT. 8-12 miles, above 19 MPH, and UNDER 61 MPH. This will re-teach the ABS computer the correct values.

If it's the ABS module, contact www.modulemaster.com and have them rebuild it - it's far cheaper (a couple hundred bucks) and they do a great job.
