Need advice on my mercedes e220 automatic gears stuck in first will not move up the gears when accelerating

NO year truck told (heavy)
clutch plate finger???? huh?

Telligent Gearbox??

A possibility can be a bad wire or plug that is breaking down under a load. It might be time for a tune up.

You could have something else wrong such as abs sensor this will put the gearbox in limp mode you will need to get the car diagnosed with computor

A little more information might help? What are the RPMs doing when the truck won't go past 40?

sounds like its time to rebuild it including a new shift valve body

Hi have a mercdes e220 cdi auto 2004 having gearbox problems: Taking reverse ok and Drive but only 1st and 2nd gear and not taking manual box any suggestions what might be wrong?
