1st check the fuse box. The corresponding fuse for that set of lights could be blown. If so, replace it with one of the same voltage.
If its not blown, next check all the light bulbs and terminals to their sockets. (With the light swithed off...checking solder or crimp connectors for breaks or corrosion)
If these are good, it might be a short in the wires to the lights. That is best fixed by a mechanic.
well the bulbs maybe burnt out, you have a wiring problem or the reverse switch is bad or out of adjustment. any one of these could be the problem. there is no specific fuse for the reverse lights as it is feed from a common feed circuit and grounded when put in gear by the switch.
sounds like you have a bad ground wire or the wire going to the sides is broken. you may have to check the connections till you find where the wires are connected. if you can test the two side lights with a battery to confirm they do work and are not bad bulbs. or switch them with working light bulbs to confirm they work. then if they work they you need to start looking for a section of wire that may be broken or is corroded and will need to reconnected to make work again.
what you have is a bugga-boo-something is shorting out or corroded-so what this does is to confuse the main cpu that controls the lights-check the light sockets for corrosion-check your wire harness for wires that are rubbed bare or broken- pinched-start with the lighting wires -unfortunately this problem that is confusing the cpu could be any where in the wiring harness-cheers Denny
I assume the car was running before you replaced the computer. If you still have the old computer try it on. This will help you determine if the problem isn't in the new computer. If you can't test as above, check for power to the distributor. If no power then check the circuit from the computer to the distributor (first the fuses that are marked "Engine Control" then the wires at the connector on both ends). If the circuit is OK then the computer is probably faulty. If you get power then check the coil pack or the distributor. I don't have the wiring diagram for the 2002 Sentra but usually power to the pump is controlled by the distributor. Please feel free to let me know if I can help you more.

Some times when you get a short circuit. It will burn out a tail light bulb. With the bulb burnt out you don’ have a complete circuit. First, replace you tail light bulbs. If that doesn’t work. Check to see if you have a ground wire come off.
there shoul be a two wire sensor on the side of transmission make sure sensor is by passing power with ignition on and reverse aplyed if not replace back up sensor or switch
