Cooling Fan Operation
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) regulates the voltage to the cooling fan relay. The relay operates the fan when the engine coolant temperature exceeds 106°C (223°F) The cooling fan will turn on automatically during extended idle conditions under 5 miles per hour. For diagnosis and location of the relay, refer to Electrical Diagnosis.

Your fan motor might be fried... and check your coolant, they have a tool which measures its ability to do its job. you might need a radiator flush but start small... THe tool to make sure you anti-Freeze is good is very cheap. By one and test it (it tells you how to test it) then check your fuzes for your Radiator fans in your owners manual. if that is good take your fans off and have them tested. you need to get your fans working again even if you need to by new. And see if your car needs a coolant flush, ( a true flush not a drain and fill

remember that you also have to remove the ring from around the shaft that holds the pressure plate with the spring. once the ring is removed the plate will come off and then you can remove the steering wheel to replace the switch

Replacement
The turn and hazard flashers are integrated into one flasher on these models. The flasher is located in the hazard warning switch and the hazard warning switch is located on the trim plate. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one, removing it from the panel, and plugging in the new one.
Remove the bezel from the ignition switch
Carefully remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate.
To remove the trim plate, use a suitable prytool to carefully apply pressure at the retaining clip points . . .
. . . then gently pull the accessory trim plate away
Detach the electrical connector from the hazard warning switch.
Unplug the electrical connector from the hazard warning switch . . .
Unfasten the screw securing the hazard warning switch and remove the switch.
. . . then unfasten the screw securing the hazard warning switch and remove the switch from the vehicle
Installation is the reverse of removal.

hi this could be caused by a couple of things, thermostat not opening is one of the main one, fan heater switch on the radiator is another, and obviously water leak is another, the first one thermostat, can replaced relatively cheaply, for a few bucks, you could do it yourself if you have the correct tools, to find out if it is thermostat, fill water first, run motor till it starts to get hot, feel the hoses on either side of the radiator ( top and bottom hoses be careful not to burn yourself in the process) if one is very hot, and the other is warm to cold, that will be the thermostat, second, the radiator fan switch, fill water, run motor, watch temp Gage, if by the time it has reached over half way on the temp Gage and the rad fan has still not cut in then this is normally a sign the switch on the radiator is u/s and needs replacing ( check fuse for fan to and relay this will also stop fan from working ) also to check for leaks, fill water, ( try not to spill any ) then if available a large cloth or sheet under car, run engine ( making sure first the other items have been checked ) and just observe for dripping water hope this helps
