Its is totally acceptable to reuse a flywheel as long as it was machined to where a new finish was achieved.A machine shop will cut off about .020"-.050" to achieve a new, machined finsih.Same concept as turning brake rotors when performing a brake job.Have the clutch hydraulics checked,as this is what applies and releases the clutch when actuating the pedal. The clutch pedal engagement point is also adjustable up under the dash. One thing to remember when driving a manual trans vehicle is,for example, when sitting at a stop light.apply the brake and sit still.I can't tell you how many times i've seen people sit at a stop light, and rock the vehicle back and forth by applying then relasing the clutch pedal, causing the vehicle to pull forward a couple feet, then roll back a couple feet, pull forward, and roll back. This severely shortens the lifespan of the clutch,as it gets TOO hot.If at a traffic light, just apply the brake and sit still. There are correct and incorrect ways to drive a manual trans vehicle, all of which is determinate of how long the clutch will last.
