I think your wiper arm is loose thats all ,if you lift the plastic covers on teh bottom of the arms their is a nut and one of them is loose so turn wipers on then self park them and the one that self parks correctly is ok and the other ones needs resetting in the same position as the other then tightening the nut up that holds the arm on .

Wiper not working

Sounds like you damaged the gear drive that operates the wiper arms, time for new wiper motor assembly is my guess. Don't use the wipers to brush off snow, very bad idea, the drive gears are plastic and on this old dog very brittle from age.

Wipers running all the time after turning on the ignition

Try to shut off the key when wipers are at the bottom or the park position. Then unplug the wiper motor wire for a day or so after driving car. With the car off plug them back in fi they still run all the time you need to replace the wiper motor.

Windshield wipers stopped working with heavy snow cover

The windshield wiper circuit has an circuit breaker in it, under heavy load this breaker trips to protect the wiper motor, when the motor cools, the breaker resets automatically restoring proper wiper action.

Front wiper motor where is it located at in the engine compartment

Under the windshield cowling. You only need to remove the driver's side wiper arm and half of the cowling. It's probably the simplest wiper motor on the planet to change. Just take your time. I hope I've helped. If so please rate my assistance and leave a comment to help others in a similar situation. I did address this in more detail quite some time ago. If you research my previous answers you should be able to locate it without much difficulty. Thank you and happy holidays.

How do i time my wiper blades after replacing wiper motor blades stay in vertical position when set on interrmitent

Remove the wiper arms from the drive posts. Turn on your wipers with the engine running and shut the wipers off -- this will put the wiper drive posts in the park position.

Reinstall the wiper arms so the blades are about an inch above the bottom of the windshield.
