During long vacations, it is prefered to disconnect the battery ,to keep the charge ,just disconnect terminals starting by (-)ve ,this advice from batteries manufacturers.

If you have a warranty that covers electrical problems of course it is covered. The horn is hard to reach and requires the car be raised off the ground.
You take another vehicle and hook their battery and your battery together with jumper cables. Hot side is red and ground side is black. Make sure you do not mix them up.
move the drivers seat to the extreme of each position, then reset the memory. you should hear a beep when the memory resets. also make sure the headrest is all the way down.
there is a reset button for the tpms either just above the accerlator or to the right of the glove box. press it and tah dah....you should be good to go.
