Your problem is electrical - which you already know. I'm sorry there's no QUICK FIX for it. It requires diagnosis and trouble shooting (I imagine you've checked the fuses and bulbs?).

You've stated the problem, but have not offered additional diagnosis/troubleshooting steps/procedures undertaken. The only recourse I have is to examine the vehicle myself... which is unrealistic here. There is NO QUICK FIX for the problem you describe. It must be properly diagnosed/troubleshooted to determine the CAUSE.

How do you manually close a sunroof in a Hyundai Santa Fe?

You do have drive and reverse,if you have park and neutral.It just the transmission cant transfer that power a new or rebuilt is the solution
