2005 Amanti . Here's a toughy... the blower won't work sometimes. The fuses are good. The high relay clicks well. I jumped the blower and it works great. I changed out the speed transistor and no change. I would only work sometimes last fall. One afternoon it wouldn't run, the next morning it would. It ran great though the winter. We've had two warm days this spring (80+) and each day it wouldn't run. When it's cool it runs great. Also, when you press the fan button to increase the speed, sometimes the beeps are very low and sometimes there are no beeps at all (when the blower is working). I have a suspicion that the fan control is jacked up. I just wanted to see if could be anything else before I laid out the $$. Thanks!!!!!

This Cheap repair More than Likely Fried the Computer and it will need to be Reset. You will need to have this car Towed to an Authorized Mechanic so that they can Run a Complete Diagnostics on the Computer system. This Action used to "Repair" this car will cause all kinds of Problems and is not easy to Diagnose over the Internet.

SOURCE: AIR CONDITIONING

Your problem is on the fan speed switch on the dash board. You can get it from the dealer for $50.00 or you can get the whole control assembly with all the switches from a junk yard for about $50.00. I had the same problem and that's what I did.
Good luck.

SOURCE: power seat stops working the

Hi,
If the power seat keeps burning out fuses, then the motor in it is drawing too much amperage. There can be something caught in the tracks to the system that is causing enough physical resistance to the motion of the seat of cause this to happen.
It does not sound like a short circuit because it would blow instantly.
I would get a strong flashlight and a mirror and a hand full of fuses and try to recreate the failure while looking at the mechanism. There may be a cardboard carton jammed up inside the mechanism or a ball point pen refill in the track lodged in such a way as to repeatedly blow the fuses.
Hope this helps,
Best Regards,
Mark

Installed new blower motor. bearing shelled in old one. new motor won't blow. tested . it's good don't have power to moter. fuses good relay good. isthere a circuit breaker in wiring for b

I don't have a diagram for a 2008. On 2005 models the blower motor relay gets power from a 30amp fuse.
When the blower switch is in the high position the resistor is bypassed and power flows directly to the motor. The motor is grounded to the car.
The fan relay also gets power from a 7.5amp fuse and is controlled by the HVAC control on the dash.
Do you have power into and out of the relay?

The blower fuse on my 2005 Kia Amanti has blown after only two weeks. Could a faulty blower replay be the problem

well first check the relay, and make sure power is going to blower motor., if it is then the blower motor may be bad and drawing to much juice and shorting it out enough to blow the fuse or relay. good luck!!

2005 Trailblazer EXT. Blower speed control not working...

Problem with blower motor is the blower motor resistor. They are usually located next to the blower motor, a couple of screws and a couple of plugs and your done. Autozone sells them for around $30 each. Wipers you may want to check for relays under the hood in the fuse block. There may be 2 relays 1 for low and 1 for high. I have switched relays from other working accesories and got wipers to work. Sometimes bad connection.
