2005 jeep liberty brake lights don't work, none of them but fuses and brake light switch are good.

maybe brake light switch located near your brake petal needs adjusting...its simply a push button that the brake petal hits as the brake petal is depressed usually u can just pull on them toward you and they'll "self-adjust" after pressing on brake petal...push on brake petal with ur hand and make sure this button is depressed while the pedal is down...

Brake lights wont come on everything else works

check the brake switch on top of brake pedal arm. it could be bad or out of adjustment. this switch sends current to rear stop lights when stepping on the brakes, to apply the stop lights.

Headlight dont come on and no blower for heat as well as the brake light stays on

hi did you check your fuses theres a set of fuses under your hood, and in your car check your owner manual it will tell u were they are located. you will have a burn or broken metal bead in the fuse if it blowen also after checking fuses check your light bulbs. same go's for the fan check the fuses if not blown check the fan switch with a test light, if it works check the fan motor itself i would suggest bring it to a shop if the fuses are fine. it is a big job to do on your own the air system. the brake light if its staying on it should be as simple as a break petal switch located on the break petal itself it mite of just sliped out little white button just slip it back into place

Hi there, my 1999 oldsmile cutlass supreme seems to be having difficulties w both brake lights. i replaced bulbs, no luck. cyclops light still works, suggestions? fuse? where would it be located, thanks...

try to toggle the hazard (emergency lamp switch on top of the steering collumn) on and off rapidly several times.the switch cuts the brake lights out for the 4ways to flash. if the 3rd brake-light still works the fuse is good.if the 4ways work and you cant get the brake lights to work then the multifunction lever has to be replaced which has the hazard switch on it. this is a vary common problem but the steering wheel has to be removed along with some other components behind the wheel which require special tools and knowledge. usually you can get the brake-lights working again by working the button for the 4ways rapidly until the brake lights start working again. good luck.

Breaklights don't work. The regular back light turn on, but when I press the break, the break lights don't turn on. ( I checked the bulbs and they are not burned out)

There is a plunger on the Brake Switch which is behind the Brake Pedal (arm). This can be checked and adjusted by "unscrewing" the plunger (out) so it makes better contact. Test the brake switch plunger to rule out if the brake switch is bad - and needs to be replaced.

Reverse lights not working

When you press the brake petal it activates a switch located under your dash. Just follow your brake petal up until you see something that compresses when you apply the brakes. It is possible that the switch is not lined up or needs to be replaced.
