Yes, this could be the shift solenoid. Was the transmission filter changed at the same time as the fluid? Dirt in the system can affect some of the transmission sensors tripping Trouble codes. I cannot be sure what the P1732 code is as some codes can be very vehicle specific but it appears to refer to the transmission or on of it's sensors.
transmission shift solenoid, google (2012 dodge ram 1500 5.7 transmission stuck in 4th gear) theirs been a lot of problems,

I have tried a lot of different things I no its electrical and I had this problem before the mechanic is trying to say the transmission but it don't slep our have and problems but staying in second and jumps in to nutral some times
a gear box place should know more than me but this can also be caused bye a little ball bearing and spring .... these 2 things push on the selecter shafts and fit in to a groove that holds the shaft in the right spot .. that is what u feel when u change gear and it stays in position ....... the spring - springs can looz tention .. brake or the ball can wear or the groov it sits in to can do the same making it not hold in position ... 2nd and 4th are prob on the same shaft and this problem useully happens under load or taking off quick ........ i think they call them retainer springs and ball
no its not running lean,,,the velves will rattle when cold,,its the way they are,,,the cold start will only stay on for a fuw minuets till the engine temp censor tell it to shut off
Have some one move the shift lever and you watch the linkage under the car to see if the lever is moving on the transmission. Sounds like the linkage is lose. Tighten the bolt on the linkage and you will off and running again.
