2003 Lincoln Navigator Logo

I changed my 2003 Lincoln Navigator air suspension with Strutmaster, since then,I faced a problem with power steering wheel. It became stiff and is hard to steer, although I checked the fluid and was within the range. I think that the workshop which replaced my suspension may did something with steering pump, maybe they disconnect the wire along with the suspension's.before I go to a workshop,is there anyway for me to check if there is a loosen wire?

Can the front suspension problem be due to the compressor

If the rear suspension is not affected its probably a leak or a front height sensor.

I would guess your steering rack is worn out,
mainly because you don't flush the fluid every
3 years or not more than 30,000 miles, as you
should also do with the transmission, on ALL
your vehicles

2004 Lincoln nave, rear wheels jacked up high, front wheels normal, rides real rough??? any thoughts???? Thanks,

Replace the air suspension with conventional shock/strut
conversions. The Air Ride System is not worth investing
time and money ,after the vehicle is 5 years old.
Too expensive to maintain ,and too difficult to diagnose

Next time buy the Ford version of the vehicle

I replaced my air suspension with strutmasters on my 2003 navigator. Cut the wire to disarm warning light and my p. s. did same as yours. Reconnected wire and ps worked normal but suspension warning is now on.

2003 NAVIGATOR AIR RIDE STOPPED WORKING,PUMP CHECKED OK.

The navi has leveling sensors on both axles that are switches and are adjustable. Most likely these are out of calibration. DO NOT attempt to move or adjust these with the vehicle on jack stands. Vehicle could shift and fall resulting in serious injury.

Sounds like a dealer only part. Sorry. There are other routes you can take with these vehicles. you can change out the air bag suspension with regular shocks and struts.
