My 2003 GMC Yukon XL Denali low beam headlights do not work. They went out, then a few days later worked again, then went out completely again. I checked the fuses and replaced the low beam relay in the fuse box under hood. The high beams, parking lamps and fog lights all work fine. What should I try next?

The problem is likely your multi purpose signal light switch. If you take the lever and move it from hi to low beam will the low beams come on? It is common for this multi purpose (real expensive ) switch to fail after a period of time! The steering wheel may have to be removed, to change it. The air bags will also need to be disabled so as not to active them while removing the switch.

2003 yukon XL one headlight is not getting power, how do i troubleshoot?

If low and high beam both are failing to work check the ground for that side . If high or low one works and the other does not check the fuse for that beam as it has 4 fuses one for each side and low and high. The fuses are in the underhood fuse block . Marked as LO HDLP LT, HI HDLP LT, LO HDLP RT and HI HDLP RT . They are 10 amp fuses .

2007 Yukon Xl Denali can the headlight switch/dimmer cause only the tail lights to not work. Dash lights, signals, brake lights when pressed work. Both sides went out. No blown fuse or broken wires.

If front park lights are working highly unlikely headlight switch is the issue. Is the vehicle equipped with a trailer towing package and wiring to the rear? I would start there. This vehicle may also have a taillight module located under the vehicle on the passenger rear attached in the wheel well area that goes bad

Why are my headlights not working on my denali

Can simply be the low beam elements are bad in bulbs, or the dimmer switch itself or could simply be the fuses to the low beam elements in the fuse panel. Often the high beam and low beam are on seperate fuse links. Ck the fuse boxes both inside and under the hood. hope it helps, TH,
