code p 1494 refers to EVAP system leak detected
p1495 is EVAP solenoid /valve fault when searching for fault codes go to the browser page and type in --- fault code ( what ever code you get -- there are plenty of pages describing the fault and how to fix

Well, the code 12 is telling you the battery or the computer has been disconnected in the last 50 starts, code 21 is a problem with the O2 sensor, and code 55 is telling you there are no more trouble codes stored in memory.
Code 21 means the O2 sensor is not switching from rich to lean, which can be a faulty sensor or a fuel problem.

Thats not a valid obdII code. Thats actually an error from the scanner itself not understanding the data that was sent.. I would clear the code and see if it returns. If it does find someone with the proper code scanner for a CAN system.

On your 95 Neon, the code 11 is for a problem with the crankshaft position sensor. The crankshaft position sensor mounts to the engine block behind the generator, just above the oil filter.

The P1684 code simply means that the battery has been disconneted within the last 50 starts.
P0551(power steering pressure switch)

that is two codes, niether mean any problem, here are the difinitions,
12 Battery Disconnect Direct Battery input to PCM disconnected within last 50 ignition key-on cycles. Normal if battery has been disconnected, otherwise check battery power and ground connections


A DTC 55 is used to end all DTC messages. This code does not show on the DRB tool and indicates a completion of the stored codes on the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (check engine lamp).

also from your explanation you got code 55 which means no error code was recorded.

Code 42 (I couldnt find what that converted to in normal ODB-II codes) is the code for an open or shorted circuit in the fuel pump relay circuit.

Code 55 just means end of codes. Code 55 just tells you it has reached the end of the report, so basically the only engine code you have is 42.
