PCM Processor Fault. A couple of things, check the wiring around the PCM, check for frays in the wiring. There is a Technical Service Bulletin for this problem also, where your pcm would need to be re-flashed (computer update) by the dealer, I believe it's around $100 to do this.
You can also try to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes or so to reset the computer. Some people have just cleared the code by doing this (or with a code reader) and the code never showed back up again.
my mechanic put a fake code or info in the pcm, and it took it and my car started.. we just dont know how long it will stay running before it figures out that it isn't what was programed into it.
My 2003 Envoy xl, alot of electrical stuff is going on....the pbs dummy brake light came on..my heater fan stopped blowing and my clock and radio would quit speratically and then finally my car wouldn't even start. I had it towed to the dealership and they diagnosed it that the PCM no longer recognized my vehicle or something like that..so the mechanic reprogrammed a different code into it and my car started..HOW long do you think I can drive it before I actually have to replace the PCM part?
Type-o erroe...Not the pbs, but the PCM...thank you ..
I have heard that disconnecting the battery for "SOME TIME" can reset codes, on this van it worked to reset something with the transmission..our vehicle was only driving in second gear and reverse , something like that ....anyway..that worked.

This an engine coolant temperature fault, most likely caused by a defective thermostat, probably one that is open all the time.
