I have a 2003 suburban that has me stumped! I was on the freeway and it lost power (foot on the accelerator and it wouldn't go!), I limped it to an Auto Zone to scan it and it said maf sensor and map sensor and random misfire. I changed both sensors with no positive results. I limped the truck home and since have changed spark plugs, wires, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump, I have checked the coils, intake manifold gasket, injectors, fuel relay, O2 sensors, catalytic convertors and air filter. Please help!

Hello, Have a look at your Crankshaft and Camshaft sensors. As I remember there was a problem on some Chevies with the Crank sensor and it caused a different problem with the timing. But it probably could cause more problems so its' suspect.

While you did the filter and Regulator for the fuel, did you do a fuel sample? Also some of the ECU's can be refreshed and it is possible that you lost some info in the main computer and just need a reload of the program.

Although you changed the Intake manifold gasket, did you do a Vacuum check or mist the Vacuum lines while the engine ran? You should see if the Vacuum reading is okay. Then see if there is a Vacuum leak somewhere.

I hope my solution is very helpful to you. It looks like you spent quite a bit to solve this.

Check spark plugs/gap. I've had similar experiences as the spark plug wears and the gap gets too big.

Sounds like a vac leak, could be the power brake booster or a hose.

2009 Hyunda Santa Fe stalls while driving

I had a similar problem with my Santa Fe. It occurred intermittently but after I turned the steering wheel to the left. After much screwing around by the dealer and trying to baffle me with BS we heard about a strange solution. I am not a mechanic but the problem somehow related to a spring in the Airbag on the steering wheel. Changed the spring and "Stone the flame'n crows" problem solved. Never had a problem since.

1994 Suburban not accelerating after fuel pump replacement

That was my first thought as well... replace the fuel filter to increase fuel flow to keep up with the higher speeds and acceleration.

2003 Hyundai Santa Fe Lost power now won't start

Sounds like the timming belt jumped or broke. A faulty crank sensor could also be at fault.

When asking a question about a problem with your vehicle you should always state your vehicles od reading and engine size, thanks.
