I can not find the fuse box diagram for a 1999 ford contour se.. I need the diagram for the fuse box in the passsager compartment and the engine compartment.

There is a possibility that you are looking at the layout for another fuse panel... check under the hood and under the dash on the driver side.

Yea, that's a good one. The trick is finding the button that lowers the fuse panel so you can get to it. It is located under the steering wheel to the left. The cigarette lighter is fuse number 27 or there is a diagram sticker on the fuse box.

If you can see under the instrument panel, find the fuse box, find the button on the side nearest the brake pedal. Push the button straight up and the fuse panel will magically lower into view. There may be a wire loom (bunch of wires) covering the button.

I changed my radiator on 99 ford Taurus now my battery goes dead someone said to take the ground cable off and use a test light to check the fuses well I did that and the light came on for every fuse so now I'm back at square one

The passenger compartment fuse panel is located on the driver's side under the instrument panel. The power distribution box is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment.

The central fuse box is located under the dash panel on the left hand side.This would be the drivers side.Hope this helps.Good luck.

do a google search and that should tell you where to get one from or try a junkyard or maybe the ford company can help.
