My Audi A4 FSI 2006 shudders and loose power when I accelerate. Garage say I must replace the fuel injectors. Car only 150 000 km old. Is it safe to use commercial fuel injector cleaners that gets added to the petrol tank?

No injector relay in this car. Injector pulse is controlled directly from ECU.

why not have them reset in a bosch specialist garage ,cost about 120 euros each

MOST TIME CAR STUMBLE OR HESITATION ON ACCELERATION YOU.HAVE A SLIGHT LEAN FUEL MIXTURE.CAUSED BY STOPPED UP FUEL INJECTORS OR FUEL FILTER SLIGHTLY PLUGGED.

to be honest i would need to drive it to know for sure but it could be anything from the clutch ,loose flywheel bolts to a drive shaft or evan a deformed tyre,Sorry i couldnt give you an instant fix and i sound like a solicitior because they always beat around the bush

The vehicle would seem to lose power as the transmission has gone into 'safe mode' and the transmission control module has detected a fault in the transmission hence the flashing gear display. you need to get someone in a dealer or someone that has the technology to plug into the car and find out what the problem in the trans is. hope this helps.

Hi i have 02 audi a4 slimline. on motorway going 70 mph and to past a car dropped it down to fourth gear probly hit 90mph. Drove for a further hour and a half, and hear a bang under car. car started to loose power. was drivable but hissing noise come out of it when accelerating. Feels like turbo not kicking in. Would this be that the turbo has blown of maybe burst pipe or something. If anyone can share a light on this i would be very greatful. Cheers

get it put on a code reader and see if there are any codes first,this may lead you in the right direction rather than do a guesstimate

My guess is throttle body, it happened to me.  Try cleaning it beacuse its 700 installed.
