There are actually FIVE cigarette lighter/ Auxilliary Power Outlets shown in the wiring diagrams for your vehicle. The Instrument Panel [1] Accessory Power Outlet (Cigarette Lighter) is protected by the "LTR" Fuse (# 53 - 20 Amp) in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment.
The Instrument Panel [2] Accessory Power Outlet is protected by the "AUX PWR" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash.
The Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet and the (two) Center Console Power Outlets are protected by the "AUX PWR 2" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash. NOTE: If your vehicle is not equipped with the Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet, or the Custom Floor Console (optional), this fuse position will most likely be empty.
On the 2002 GA the cigarette lighter is mini-fuse # 34. This is also referred to as the "accessory power outlets".It's a yellow twenty amp fuse located in the underhood fuse box. Open the box, find the fuse, remove it and replace it.In the fuse box under the hood, marked AUX PWR/CIGAR..... check all of your fuses ,a blown fuse might be the problem, the cigarette lighter usually is on the accessories fuse as is your interior courtesy light the fuse box is probably under the bonnet but there may be one under the dash as well....hope this helps ....cheers
is the only thing not working the cigarette lighter? the fuse that operates it is usually the accessories fuse, it normally operates the interior light as well, which fuse box have you checked,there is most likely one under the bonnet & there also may be one under the dash as well, it might well be that the cigarette lighter element is the problem,try another lighter....hope this helps....cheers
Look for the accessories fuse in the fuse panel. If the fuse is still good then you cigarette lighter is burnt out and will need to be replaced. Hope this will help you.
Usually call "ACC" or "ACCESSORY"on most fuse blocks. Also sometimes attached to "RADIO" or dash lighting. You can buy a fuse tester inexpensively that you can test the fuses while installed to see which one is blown, thus finding the elusive problem.
