If it is a diesel engine then unfortunatley they are NOT OBD II compliant. They do have the OBD II port but the scanners you can use at the A/P store won't pull those code(s). You will have to use a scanner that pulls PSD code(s) or go to a shop with the equipment or the dealer.

OBD-II is a set of specifications for monitoring and reporting on engine performance in modern automobiles. There should be a small wire harness on the inside of the driver side tow hook under the bumper. The chord is very short and has a cap over the plug. Just reach in and you'll find a black cable about 1/2" thick. There's another wire tapped into it that has the plug end.
