It is very unlikely that you can do this job yourself. You need a brake line flare kit to flare the ends of the pipes one you cut the tube to length. Then yo need a pressure bleed unit to bleed all 4 brakes. There are videos here and some pictures in the images tab, but mainly electrical. A garage just replaces the split line and follows the path it took.
Was the brake line removed ? There is no reason a brake line needs to be replaced unless the line was broken or damaged.
One way to check if your car has sensors, is to look for a harness that runs and is secured on the strut. Also check the hub, there is usually a slot in the back where the sensor is mounted.
Some vehicles come without brake sensors, best thing to do is call local dealer, supply them with your VIN and ask them if it comes with sensors.
What were the repairs done to your brakes ? What is the problem after the repair was done ? You may only need to bleed the complete system if calipers were replaced.
Brake line diagrams dont exist like wiring diagrams do. If your truck has ABS, that's the ABS controller, and if not it's just the proportioning/metering valve.

If the steel lines are not rusted out and leaking, what are you trying to do or figure out?
I don't think you do know what is the problem is with your braking system?
