There is a ticking noise coming from the speedometer on the dash board that increases in repetition as the speed increases. Also, corrisponding to the dash noise, a ticking sound can be hear outside the vehicle as if something is not right with one of the wheels. The outside noise has only been noticed on the right side of the vehicle. not sure if it is front or back. Vue model year is 2005 Fred P.

SOURCE: Vibration and noise from front end while driving

Jack up the front end and put stands under it and block rear wheels. Look at axle boots and see if they are cracked. Try turning wheel back and forth sharply and see if you can hear any clicking. Problem could be outer axle joints. If the boots are cracked or you hear a clicking noise you will have to replace the axle. The axle and boot come as a complete unit. Please let me know what you find out.

relay may be sticking. may call your dealer and see if there are any service bulletins pertaining to this problem

This is a well known issue with model years 2003 thru 2005. There is a chance GM will replace it under recall... Call the Chevy Customer Assistance Center 1-800-630-2438 to find out.
