2006 Saturn Vue AWD automatic (not a hybrid) has a quick vibrating pulse in the brake pedal when applying the brakes. It is not rotor wobble (they have been replaced). It finishes with a load horn like vacuum noise and then a few seconds of ticking noise. The brakes work fine as far as stopping the car. Garage put it on a $10k test computer that found no error codes. He applied the brake pedal will the test computer was connected and then an ABS light came on on the dash for 2 seconds and then went out. His foot still on the pedal the ABS light came back on for another few seconds and went off. Still no error codes reported to the computer. He also found that all 4 wheel sensors were saying the wheels were rotating at 1 mile per hour (the car was stopped).

SOURCE: abs sensor

there is more than likely a piece of rust stuck to one of the front abs wheel speed sensors. this happens during brake service sometimes.

SOURCE: Brake pedal vibrates while braking and doesent stop right away

There's speed sensors at each wheel. You may have got some contamination in front of one of them... sounds like the abs is trying to compensate for un equal speed at each wheel... and something may be blocking a proper read at one of the wheels...

SOURCE: i have a 2004 saturn vue when i apply the brakes my abs comes on

It sounds like one of your wheel sensors isn't working, and the ABS is thinking that one wheel is locked up, so it's activating ABS.

Under the intake manifold,  it will need to be removed.  Not too hard to do for the average diy but recommend buying a repair manual as a guide.  you will need a 1/4" drive T30 torx socket with a long extension one of the bolts is hidden but the others are under the black cover on the top of the intake.  you will also need to remove the coil pack held on with torx bolts.  8 or 10 inverted torx socket needed for that.

Why does 2006 saturn vue makes foghorn sound

Because this is about your brakes take this to a mechanic as soon as you can! Noisy brakes could be anything from a minor issue to a serious caliper or damaged rotor problem.
When you press the brake pedal does it feel different? Spongy? Harder than normal? Gritty? A pulse as you apply pressure?

ABS & brake Wobble in Cherokee front end

I am not familiar with your ABS as to how it is fed to the brakes but I am pretty sure I know what you are talking about. It sounds like your ABS is activating which is in my case the wheel hub. You will notice a wire harness coming down to your wheels and where that attaches is usually where the problem is. (problem being if I am correct when you brake you are getting a rapid pulsing rather than a smooth brake)

Truck shakes when brake is applied upon slowing down it gets shakier until i let off the brake and pulse the brakes till truck stops

A common cause for the vibration when braking is when front brake pads are replaced, but the brake rotors were not resurfaced smooth. Overtime when braking, the new pad will wear into the rotor that was not cut. The uncut rotor, having high and low spots when turning, will cause the brake pedal to vibrate/pulse when stopping.

2006 Satrun Vue, experiencing a vibration wehn brakes are applied and then when brakes released a bit of vibration is felt at take of as well. The front rotors were replaced and turned since we have owned...

I would check the rear brakes drums, they may need to be turned. The front rotors may have warped again, with turning the rotors, it removes metal from the rotor which leaves the rotor with less metal to dissipate heat, and the rotor will warp again when they get hot.

THUMPING AND PULSING WHEN BRAKING. WE HAVE CHECKED ALL BRAKES , ROTORS, CALIPERS. WHAT ELSE CAN IT BE. I AM A WOMAN, SO MY EXPLANATION IS THAT IT HAS A BUMPING THUMPING VIBRATION.

on a clear road try gently applying the E brake, see if that produces the feeling, I would say either a rotor is warped (wobbled from side to side due to heat disatortion) or a drum. It is not easy to see these faults, with a wheel off you need to turn the rotor and look for the wobble, it only takes a wobble of 1/16 or 2mm to make the brake pedal pulse. This is a large safety issue as your brakes will be impaired.

2006 Saturn steering wheel vibrates/shakes when coming to a stop.

your brake rotors need to be turned down. you need to check the brake pads while your at it. if they are thin. change them and pack the bearings while there out. and change the inter greace seals. then your good for another 50 - 70 000 miles. also ask them to pull the rear drums and check for wear. they call it free inspection. this is sometimes caused from water splashing on hot rotors, makes the brake pedal to pulsate...

good luck & good day

Saturn Vue 2004 model

more than likely you have warped brake rotors. or lack of parallelism in the rotors. you can get them machined if there is enough meat left on the rotor or just buy a new set which isn't all that bad for that vehicle since it's a floating rotor. good luck

2004 Saturn Vue Brakes

The vibration is caused by the rotors being warped. Remove the front tires and check the front brake pads. Replace if needed. This is a pretty straight forward job. The rotors are "fall off" rotors and you won't need anything special tool wise.
