Nissan Sentra 2000 model. Thick White smoke coming out of exhaust

Hi,
I have put my car in the shop for a simple TuneUp as part of my maintenance. When I got it back after traveling for a few miles. White smoke is already coming out of the exhaust.

Can somebody help me? what should be check first...?

2003 Maxima thick white smoke on start up in winter & summer. Dealer said condensation but I am doubtful.

Is the car runnig little rough on cold start up in themorning for few seconds?? Because I have done quite a few headgaskets on QG18 Sentra aka 1.8 liter nissan sentra. here is the test. Fill up your overflow bottle to the full mark and check the coolant level in about 5 days.(drive it normally as if nothing is going on) If the level is down, your head gasket is gone. How about the check engine light , is it on?? post results.

if the weather is cold enough it will have white smoke coming out the exhaust it just indicates the moisture that is the by product of combustion and as the engine gets to operating temp it should diminish. if it smells sweet it indicates that the engine is burning coolant.

I have a nissan sentra eccs with automatic transmission 1993 model, the exhaust is releasing a lot of white smoke, is this normal?

sorry but if you have white smoke coming out your exhaust, most likely you blew a head gasket. antifreeze is leaking into your exhaust and out the tailpipe. check your engine oil dipstick and see if the oil is a milky color. your local auto parts store sells a temp fix for it just ask for a head gasket sealer. good luck

Sounds to me like you have a blown head gasket. White smoke is from water leaking in your exaust. May not be bad yet but it will get worse. Good luck , Might get a sec. opinion to be sure.

Thick white smoke is usually caused by coolant leaking into the cylinders. You mY have a bad head gasket.

usually white smoke means prestone leak head gasket if black rich mixture if blue oil consumption do a compression test to find the problem or check levels to see if they are low
