Odd one this to have P1111 as well.

According to my data P1111 is all dtc checks compleated, http://www.bluejag.co.uk however some websites show it as a Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage, I'm fairly sure that the latter is incorrect.

check the basics first plugs, leads, corroded ground connections etc then its a bit of a guessing game

As for the other codes

P0301 = Misfire detected - cylinder 1
P1313 = Misfire rate catalyst damage - bank 1
P1316 = Misfire excess emission

Possible causes (as per JTIS):

Cylinder compression low
Worn camshaft / broken valve spring(s)
Fuel delivery pressure (low / high)
Fuel injector(s) restricted / leaking
Fuel injector(s) continuously open
Fuel contamination
Fuel injector circuit fault(s)
(Injector DTCs also flagged)
Spark plug failure / fouled / incorrect gap
ECM to ignition coil primary circuit fault
(Cylinder misfire detected DTC also
flagged)
Ignition coil failure

hope this helps

Jaguar 2002 xtype runs perfectly. Engin light is on showing codes p1111 p1316 and mis fire cylinder 1 3 5

remove the air filter housing check the wiring has not rubbed through on the metal filter holder mounting common problem.or water ingress in the engine control module/connector the plugs/on plug coils are also troublesome but 3 on the same bank is unlikely to go bad at the same time good luck

How do I fix P0300,P0301,P0303, P0305,P1313,P1316& P1646?2 weeks ago,codes were minus P1313&P1316 with P0057 added in.replaced bank2 downstream sensor,P0057 gone but 2 new codes popped up????

the engine managment system on this car treats each bank as 2 seperate engines bank 1 and bank 2 the fault codes you have got are emission related. diagnosis is not easy because the ecu will use the other bank to compensate and alter its fueling etc to reduce emissions. the only way to sort it out is to put it on suitable diagnostic equipment and monitor live data ie. lambda sensors/ catalyst efficiency hope this helps

My 2003 S-Type is misfiring when it reaches 3000 rpms. it read codes p1111, p0333,p0332,p1316,p0305,p0303,p0301,p0300.

Think you have a problem with the computer but what i have no idea to be honest ,its going into limp mode as these vehicles have a limit to the RPM you can achive on static standing .These vehicles can only be revved to 3000 rpm when stationary as this i do know from when i take this type to the test station and the sound test states 3500rpm but only 3000 can be obtained ?good job iam well known at the test station .So i would suggest that consult the dealer with the view of doing a mapping of the computer to see what the problem could be.So firstly what i would try is to disconnect the battery in the boot and join the leads together and leave overnight to discharge the memory in the computer and see if this cures the fault .

2003 Jaguar X Type has p1314,p0300,p1313,,p0303,p0301,p0302,p0305

the fault codes you have are all misfire codes p1313 and p1314 are manufactuer codes only. but they all point to same issue check the engine wiring harness under the air box for chaffing also the on plug coils are very unreliable the spark plug internal resistance is critical use only genuine plugs we had to change all 6 because pattern plugs had been fitted and check for water ingress in to the ecm/connector that may be the problem

2003 x-type codes help. P0037, P0300, P0305, P1111 (pend), P1316. Any help with explaining these codes will be much appreciated. Thanks

Go to http://www.bluejag.co.uk/diagnosticcodes.php to get a good description of the problems. Looks like a fault on cylinder 5 to me Ignoring P1111 which dosn't matter at the moment, could be ignition coil, plug, injector etc unless there is anything else obvious in that area. (when were your plugs last changed?)

What does the service code p1111 mean?

Copied directly from a Jaguar forum:

P1111 is not a fault code. It is a special designator Jaguar uses meaning system ready, drive cycles completed after the last fault event. P1000, on the other hand, means system not ready, or drive cycles not completed after the last recorded fault event.

Some OBD II Basics - All P0xxx codes are generic and uniform across all manufacturers and mean the same on every car. All P1xxx codes are manufacturer specific codes. You cannot use a generic code chart to analyze P1xxx codes for a Jaguar.

Next time your car displays an engine fault light, try reading the codes then. If you have a CEL illuminated and the only code read is P1000 or P1111, then you probably have a fault that generic code readers cannot see. Could be a chassis code, for example.

One last thing - Neither P1000, nor P1111 can be erased.

Hope this helps you.

Misfire

Well, the P in the code means powertrain.  As far as the code specifics,
P1313 Misfire Rate Catalyst Damage Fault - Bank 1
P1316 Misfire Rate Exceeds Emissions

I would say check your spark plugs and wires.
