I have a 1991 GMC Sonoma I took my truck to the repair shop and the mechanic put on plungs, wires, rotary, cap, and gasket and my truck still stop. The mechanic did not know what code 22 and code 34 means. I called auto parts and they told me but I still don't know what's causing it to stop every second. But the mechanic told me that I need a throttlebody injection. How would he know if he don't know what code 22 or code 34 means.

Very good point so now you should be going to an accredited service center with experience on your make of vehicle googling the fault codes give s the result
code 22 indicates that the throttle position (TPS) is reading abnormally low TPS voltage should be .42 volts at closed throttle rising smoothly .02 v increments to a max voltage of 4.85 v at full throttle
code 34 indicates that the mass air flow (MAF) sensor circuit ( signal voltage low-high vacuum
check the air filter and replace the MAF sensor
now , I can get this information from using google , it doesn't say much for the mechanics ability or training
for your own personal information , when you get a fault code show up, go google and type in -GM fault code ( what ever it is ) and there are plenty of sites that will give you the fault in detail -- for example I typed ij gm fault code 22 and got the information
It really helps you when you front a shop and you know the area of the fault first as it stops the rip off before it starts

SOURCE: I need to see the "how to's" in replacing the one way check valves on my 2001 gmc sonoma 4.3

On the 2001 gmc jimmy 4.3L v6 engine there are two air pump check valves: there's a pipe (about 1" diameter) that comes off each of the exhaust manifolds. the check valves are screwed onto those pipes. then a rubber hose (about 1.25" outside diameter) is clamped to the front of each check valve and connects to the air pump, which is hidden behind the vehicles grille in front of the radiator. typically, if you need to replace these (the life expectancy is about 3-4 years), it starts a chain of events that might be as follows: during the wintertime, water from the exhaust leaks through the worn out one-way check valves, and ends up in the air pump. the water freezes, and the ice jams the air pump, which may or may not ruin the air pump, but which usually blows the air pump fuse, which is impossible to find if you're rummaging around the passenger compartment fuse box or the under-hood fuse and relay box. it ain't there! so if you're looking under the hood leaning up against the front bumper, slide to your left around the passenger side headlight. now you should be looking at the battery, leaning up against the passenger side fender. look down between the battery and the fender. you have to push a few things out of the way, but there you will find a green 30 amp blade fuse (about 1" x 1" fuse--and $2.99 at autozone). this blown fuse should have triggered the check engine light and a DTC (diagnostic trouble code) of p0410 (secondary air injection system). for that vehicle there is a TSB (technical service bulletin) put out by gm (bulletin # 04-06-04-015; march 2004). if you want to print out some literature about all that i've mentioned just surf on over to http://www.obd-codes.com/p0410 for more links and documentation. my credentials: self-proclaimed auto mechanic for 26 years (sorry, no ase certification yet [but still trying to find time to study for the tests]) and college dropout (after 3 years of electrical engineering)--so, in other words, don't believe a word i say; just go to that website and get it straight from the horse's...
Good luck and hope this helps. I know you have a Sonoma but we have the same platform. I am thinking of buying a set of headers without the Air injection system and having the jimmy dyno tuned again to eliminate the service engine light and recalibrate the ECM to eliminate the air injection pump.

SOURCE: how do i replace a clutch master cylinder

unbolt and replace the unit. The secret is to bench bleed the unit before installing. Get a short section of hose, connect where the steel line hooks up, route the hose to the the reservior, fill with fluid and pump until bubbles disappear.

somtimes you can never get it working without pre bleeding, just do it, you will be much more successful.

It sounds like looking for a newer model would be the best bet.

1991 sonoma 2.8l what is the sparkplug wires order at plugs and distributor cap

Got kind of confused because I'm pretty sure the Sonoma didn't come out until 1992 but then again I could be wrong. Not perfect you know. Anyhow this is the firing order for the GMC 2.8 Liter engines from 90 - 93 (see picture below). I hope this is what your looking for and I hope it helps. good luck.

HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE A HEAD GASKET ON A 2002 4 CYLINDER GMC SONOMA?

its not hard, but you need the right tools, procedures, you need to know what you are doing. You also need to repair why the head gasket is blown. You will need the head checked out at a machine shop, it may be warped.

1991 gmc sonoma random loss of power

could be the crankshaft sensor causing the timing to be off if it has a coilpack type distributor or if it has a gear driven distributor then it could be either the distributor itself or possibly just cap and rotor
